It certainly isn’t the first cause that the consumer electronics industry has supported and by knowing first-hand at how fantasticly supportive our industry is I’m sure it will not be the last, however the industry-wide support of Team OmniMount Goes Pink is admirable.
Latest update: WAVE Electronics, a Houston, TX based wholesale supplier of high-end consumer electronics, home theater equipment and accessories, has generously pledged $1 per sku of all OmniMount products sold between now (well, October 15) and November 6, 2008. Just in time to add the WAVE donation to OmniMount’s overall team fundraising for the American Cancer Society’s November 8th Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.
In addition to the $1/sku pledge, each of WAVE’s four branches in Texas have placed donation boxes on its sales counters. Employees are also making personal donations to the fundraising page of WAVE’s own Mike Fassetta, who will be walking with the OmniMount team! Real men wear pink!
To date, Team OmniMount Goes Pink has raised more than $3,500!
